Welcome to another empowering episode of our podcast! In this episode, we will discover the struggles and anxiety faced by someone who took a leap of faith to step outside her comfortable job to start her entrepreneurial journey. Most importantly, we will learn how breathwork helps us manage the stress and anxiety we encounter to begin moving forward and taking imperfect actions to live in alignment with our true selves and acknowledge the power of investing in our self-care.

It has been said that starting your own business is like riding a roller coaster. There are highs and lows; every turn you take is another twist. You have to be strong and ride along the roller coaster you started. Hence, taking a leap of faith to step outside a comfortable job and embark on an entrepreneurial journey is a daunting decision filled with struggles and anxiety. And leaving the stability of a secure job to venture into the unpredictable world of entrepreneurship brings about the uncertainty of the future and the fear of making mistakes. However, we must learn to start prioritizing self-care through investing in ourselves and checking in with our mind, body, and soul to address the root cause of every wound we have within us and be able to reach our full potential to thrive and keep ourselves on the right track.

Our guest for this episode is Valerie Scagliola, a Certified Breathing Coach in the San Francisco Bay Area and Facilitator who teaches breathwork and Somatic practices to help people regulate their nervous system and release stress from their bodies and life. She is on a mission to help everybody improve their physical, mental, and emotional well-being with the power of the breath. Drawing from a collection of Somatic-based healing modalities, she guides her clients to release stored emotions and regulate their nervous systems.

Her approach uniquely blends pranayama, therapeutic breathing, gentle movement, and self-discovery. Her passion lies in creating a haven for people to be seen, let go, and heal.

Join us as we delve into Valerie’s leap into entrepreneurship, the importance of knowing the seven different types of rest and more. Valerie's wisdom and expertise will significantly benefit everyone who aims to experience the healing power of breathwork and how it can help us reduce stress and anxiety, sleep better and release stored emotions specially for those wanting to become their own boss or are a business owner already.

"I knew breathwork was something I needed to do for my health and wellness because I couldn't keep up with the misalignment that I felt." – Valerie Scagliola
